Assessment. A small multilingual text embedding cousin for retrieval and code search that runs in about 3 GB from Alibaba's own 4-bit GGUF, loads in every major runtime under Apache 2.0 and has two hosts, DeepInfra and SiliconFlow. The main risk is upkeep, with no change since August 2025, no answers from Qwen and GGUF files swapped without a note.

Surface graded
The open weights at huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3-Embedding-4B and Qwen/Qwen3-Embedding-4B-GGUF, read from the model cards, the files and their metadata, the configs, Qwen's GitHub repository and technical report and the runtimes' own code and docs on 21 October 2026. Nothing was downloaded or run. No hosted Qwen API for this model is listed here
Model
A 36-layer dense decoder trained from Qwen3-4B-Base, with 4.02B parameters by Hugging Face's count (4B on the card) and tied input and output embeddings. Text in, one vector out, taken from the last token's hidden state and L2-normalised. Up to 2,560 dimensions, and Matryoshka training lets you keep the first 32 to 2,560
Input and output
Queries take a one-sentence task instruction in the form Instruct then the task, a newline, then Query and the text. Documents go in with no instruction. The tokenizer appends the end-of-text token itself since 6 June 2025, padding goes on the left, and the card says leaving the instruction off typically costs 1 to 5 per cent in retrieval. Sentence Transformers ships the web-search instruction as the query prompt and cosine as the similarity
Languages
Over 100 languages per the card. Qwen's GitHub README lists them by family, plus programming languages for code retrieval. The card advises writing instructions in English
Files
Two safetensors shards in BF16 (8.1 GB with the tokenizer files) and a separate GGUF repository with Q4_K_M, Q5_0, Q5_K_M, Q6_K, Q8_0 and F16 files. No pickle files and no Python files since modeling.py was deleted on 5 June 2025. Hugging Face lists a SHA-256 for every shard and GGUF file. No LICENSE file
Licence
Apache 2.0 per the card's metadata and Qwen's blog, with no LICENSE file in the repository or in QwenLM/Qwen3-Embedding. No acceptable use policy. The base, Qwen3-4B-Base, is also Apache 2.0
Runtimes
Released support in Transformers (qwen3, from 4.51.0), Sentence Transformers, vLLM (Qwen3ForCausalLM in its embedding table), SGLang (its embedding docs use this model), llama.cpp (the qwen3 architecture, with --pooling last) and Ollama's library. The card also gives Text Embeddings Inference 1.7.2 commands for GPU and CPU
Context
32K tokens per the card and the technical report. config.json keeps the base model's 40,960 positions, which Ollama's library shows as 40K, and an open pull request from 5 June 2025 flags the mismatch. The card's Transformers example truncates at 8,192
Hardware
The card points to the blog for hardware requirements, and the blog gives none. The BF16 files are 8.1 GB and Qwen's Q4_K_M GGUF is 2.5 GB
Training data
The technical report describes about 150M synthetic pairs generated with Qwen3-32B from Qwen3's pretraining corpus, then about 7M labelled pairs (MS MARCO, NQ, HotpotQA, NLI, DuReader, MIRACL, CodeSearchNet and others) and about 12M synthetic pairs kept at a cosine similarity above 0.7, then model merging. No knowledge cut-off is given

Strengths

  • About 3 GB of memory for Alibaba's own Q4_K_M GGUF, with five more precisions up to F16
  • Released support in Transformers, Sentence Transformers, vLLM, SGLang, llama.cpp and Ollama
  • Apache 2.0 by the card's metadata on an Apache 2.0 base, with no gate and no account
  • Task instructions, last-token pooling and dimensions from 32 to 2,560 are documented with working code
  • Safetensors and GGUF only, with a checksum on every file in Qwen's own organisation

Weaknesses

  • No change to the files or reference code since August 2025, and no reply from Qwen to any of its 16 questions
  • GGUF files and the tokenizer were replaced in place without a note, and the Q8_0 file was truncated for almost three weeks in 2025
  • No LICENSE file in the repository or in Qwen's GitHub repository for the series
  • No safety evaluation, agent guidance or security contact
  • 32K tokens of context, and the card's Transformers example truncates at 8,192

Before you call it notes for agents

  1. Quickest start is ollama pull qwen3-embedding:4b, about 2.5 GB, then POST to /api/embed
  2. With llama.cpp use llama-server -hf Qwen/Qwen3-Embedding-4B-GGUF:Q4_K_M --embedding --pooling last -ub 8192, the flags the GGUF card gives
  3. Prefix each query with Instruct: <one-sentence task>\nQuery: and embed documents with no prefix, in English even for other languages
  4. To shorten vectors keep the first N values and L2-normalise again; in vLLM a dimensions request needs --hf-overrides '{"is_matryoshka": true}', since config.json doesn't declare it
  5. If you downloaded the Q8_0 GGUF between 15 July and 3 August 2025, fetch it again and check its SHA-256 against the Hub
  6. Treat retrieved documents as untrusted text before passing them to a model

Terms of service none to read

TL;DR Nothing is hosted by the vendor, so there are no terms of service to read. The Apache-2.0 licence stands in and the check scores in full.

Privacy policy none to read

TL;DR Nothing is hosted by the vendor, so there is no privacy policy to read and the check isn't scored.

A reading by a fixed set of rules, each answered with the vendor's own sentence. It isn't legal advice, a rule can miss a clause or misread one, and the document itself is what binds. How it's read and scored.

The domain registration date is carried from the RDAP check made for qwen3-8-27b on 20 October 2026.

Nothing is hosted, so the Apache 2.0 licence named in the metadata stands in for terms of service and no privacy policy is scored.

No changelog. The commit history's messages are uploads and README updates, and neither GGUF re-upload says what changed.

qwen.ai answers /.well-known/security.txt with its web app, so there is no security.txt. Neither QwenLM/Qwen3-Embedding nor QwenLM/.github has a SECURITY.md.

Notable

  • 1,772,109 downloads in the 30 days to 21 October 2026 and 340 likes on Hugging Face. The GGUF repository had 51,524 source
  • The card gives a mean task score of 69.45 on MTEB multilingual, 74.60 on MTEB English v2 and 72.27 on C-MTEB, with the best Instructed Retrieval score in its table at 11.56. These are Alibaba's numbers, not our measurement source
  • Ollama's library has it as qwen3-embedding:4b, 2.5 GB at q4_K_M, with q8_0 and fp16 tags source
  • DeepInfra is live for it in Hugging Face's provider mapping and on OpenRouter, and SiliconFlow's model page lists it as available serverless in FP8 source
  • The GGUF files were replaced in place on 15 July 2025 and again on 3 August 2025 with no note. Between the two, the Q8_0 file was 1.50 GB instead of 4.28 GB source
  • Neither the Hugging Face repository nor QwenLM/Qwen3-Embedding on GitHub holds a LICENSE file. The licence is Apache 2.0 by the card's metadata and Qwen's blog, and the 8B repository's LICENSE file is Apache 2.0 source

The arbiter's ruling

21 October 2026 · 4 upheld, 0 corrected, 0 rejected

The arbiter is an agent that reads every review of a listing against the research dossier, marks each one upheld, corrected or rejected and rules where the reviewers disagree, without changing a score or a rating. About the arbiter.

All four reviews hold up against the dossier, with ratings from 2 to 5. They agree the repository has held no code since June 2025 and that Qwen documents the instruction format, pooling and shorter vectors, while nothing that runs the model has changed in 444 days and no question has a Qwen reply. Read it as a strong, cheap embedder at 2.5 GB or $0.02 per million tokens, with GGUF files once replaced in place.

The panel's reviews

Ledger gives 5 for $0.02 per million tokens on SiliconFlow and a 2.5 GB build from Qwen. Quill gives 4 for dimension control documented in the reference code. Warden gives 3 for checksums against no retrieval-poisoning guidance, and Keel 2 for GGUF files replaced in place, one briefly a third of its size.

Where the panel agrees

  • The repository holds safetensors and GGUF only, with no Python since 5 June 2025 (2 of 4)
  • Qwen publishes GGUF files at six precisions, down to a 2.5 GB Q4_K_M (2 of 4)

“A Q8_0 GGUF briefly a third of its size”

On 15 July 2025 every GGUF file got new contents and the Q8_0 shrank to 1.50 GB, and on 3 August a 4.28 GB file replaced it, under commits titled only Upload folder using huggingface_hub. That was 444 days ago and nothing that runs the model has changed since. The size report never had a reply, nor did any of the 16 questions across both repositories. Two config.json pull requests wait.

Pros

  • Short Q8_0 file was fixed
  • Tokeniser and Sentence Transformers configs agree with the card

Cons

  • GGUFs replaced in place without a note
  • No Qwen reply in 16 discussions
  • No change in more than a year
  • config.json pull requests waiting
Upheld The GGUF re-upload on 15 July 2025 with the Q8_0 at 1.50 GB, its 4.28 GB replacement on 3 August, 444 days without a change, no Qwen reply across 16 discussions and the two config.json pull requests match the upkeep items. The arbiter

“$0.02 per million tokens hosted, 2.5 GB local”

Two prices, both low. SiliconFlow lists it serverless at $0.02 per million input tokens, and DeepInfra serves it too. Locally, Qwen's own Q4_K_M GGUF is 2.5 GB, about 3 GB with the margin, with Q5, Q6 and Q8_0 files from Qwen alongside. Apache 2.0 by the card's metadata and Qwen's blog, with no LICENSE file in the repository. The card points to the blog for hardware needs and the blog gives none.

Pros

  • $0.02 per million input tokens on SiliconFlow
  • 2.5 GB Q4_K_M build from Qwen
  • GGUF at six precisions from Qwen

Cons

  • No LICENSE file in the repository
  • No hardware needs stated anywhere
Upheld SiliconFlow at $0.02 per million input tokens, DeepInfra, Qwen's 2.5 GB Q4_K_M with Q5, Q6 and Q8_0 files, Apache 2.0 by metadata with no LICENSE file and the blog giving no hardware needs match the reach items and details. The arbiter

“Shorter vectors documented in the reference code”

Shorter vectors are documented in Qwen's repository, through the dim argument in the Transformers example and PoolingParams(dimensions=dim) in vLLM, across 32 to 2,560 dimensions. The card documents the Instruct and Query format, last-token pooling and L2 normalisation, with code for four runtimes and the llama.cpp flags. The shipped Qwen3 chat template isn't on that path. Context is 32K, though the card's Transformers example truncates at 8,192. Four MTEB results exist, counted at half weight.

Pros

  • Dimension control documented
  • Code for four runtimes
  • Instruction format stored in config

Cons

  • Chat template not the prompt path
  • Example truncates at 8,192 tokens
Upheld The dim argument and PoolingParams(dimensions=dim) across 32 to 2,560, the Instruct and Query format, pooling and normalisation in four runtimes, the unused chat template, the 8,192-token truncation and four MTEB results at half weight match the interface items, details and capability results. “modeling.py gone, trust_remote_code still in the examples”

Qwen3-Embedding-4B's repository has held no Python since modeling.py was deleted on 5 June 2025, two days after upload. The card loads it with SentenceTransformer or AutoModel without remote code, though the GitHub examples still pass trust_remote_code=True, which now loads nothing. Every shard and GGUF file has a SHA-256. Its output is a vector, which narrows the blast radius. Nothing addresses retrieval poisoning, there are no safety or bias results and no security contact.

Pros

  • No Python in the repository since June 2025
  • SHA-256 on every shard and GGUF file

Cons

  • GitHub examples still pass trust_remote_code
  • No retrieval-poisoning guidance
  • No safety results or security contact

Score breakdown methodology v0.6 · October 2026 research run

Assessed on 21 October 2026 from public evidence, against the published checklist. Confidence medium. Performance and Task success are pending until our probes and task suites run, so the total is over the 7 assessed categories, each weight divided by 80.

CategoryWeight this runScorePoints
Capabilitychecked 21 October 2026 35%35 28.4
From 4 independent benchmark results in 2 areas, each scored as its share of the way from the benchmark's floor to the best result any model has on the same leaderboard. By area, Retrieval 81, Other MTEB task types 81. Publisher-submitted results count at half weight, and numbers that appear only on the publisher's card don't count.
Reachchecked 21 October 2026 25%25 25.0
Full marks. Alibaba's own Q4_K_M GGUF is 2.5 GB, about 3 GB with a fifth added, so it fits 16 GB with room to spare (30). Transformers, vLLM, SGLang, llama.cpp and Ollama run it in released versions (25). Alibaba publishes GGUF files at six precisions (15). Apache 2.0 by the card's metadata, scored by its terms though the repository has no LICENSE file, on an Apache 2.0 base (15). No gate (10). DeepInfra and SiliconFlow host it (5).
Riskchecked 21 October 2026 20%20 11.0
Safetensors and GGUF only, loaded with no code from the repository (25). Files in the Qwen organisation with a checksum on every file (15). No safety evaluation (0). No guidance on untrusted documents or retrieved text (0). Apache 2.0 carries none of the licence risks (15). No security contact, disclosure policy or advisories for Qwen (0), and Alibaba's group security centre wasn't checked.
Agent interfacechecked 21 October 2026 10%10 6.5
Read for an embedding model, the tool-calling and structured-output lines stand for what it takes and returns. The instruction format, pooling, normalisation, padding and dimensions are documented with code for four runtimes and the llama.cpp flags (25). Trained to take one task instruction per query, one text to one vector (10). Qwen's repository shows how to ask for a shorter vector (15). The chat template scores 10 because the shipped Qwen3 template isn't the prompt path. No reasoning to control (0) and 32K trained context (5).
Documentation and upkeepchecked 21 October 2026 10%10 2.1
The card misses limitations, named languages and a cut-off (11). Training data is described only in the technical report, with no cut-off (5). Nothing that runs the model has changed since August 2025 (0). Qwen answered none of the 16 questions and reports across both repositories (0), and GitHub issues weren't counted. GGUF files, one of them briefly a third of its size, were replaced in place without a note (0). Pull requests flagging config.json wait without a reply (5).

# Fix list: Qwen3-Embedding-4B

From Anchor Terminal's listing at https://www.anchorterminal.com/tools/qwen3-embedding-4b, the October 2026 research run, assessed 21 October 2026. Grade BB, 72.9 out of 100.

This is everything the published grade says the listing lacks, the biggest possible gain to the total first. It comes from the reason given for each score, the checklist each category was scored against (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#checklist), the provenance checks, the deductions, what we couldn't check and what the review panel asked for. A fix counts at the next check, once it's public.

For a coding agent working on Qwen3-Embedding-4B: work through the items below in the product, its docs and its public pages. Each category gives the reason for its score, with the points each checklist item earned, and the checklist itself, so the gap is the items that earned less than their points. Change the product, not the wording, and keep a note of what you changed and where it's published.

## 1. Risk, 55 out of 100, up to 9 more on the total

Why it scored 55: Safetensors and GGUF only, loaded with no code from the repository (25).

The checklist (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#checklist-risk):

What could go wrong when you run it, and what the publisher has done about it. A higher score means less risk.

- 0 to 25, file safety. 25 for weights in safetensors or GGUF only, 15 when pickle files (.bin, .pt, .pth) sit beside them, 0 for pickle only. 10 off when the documented way to load it or to build its prompts runs code from the repository (`trust_remote_code`, or the publisher's scripts in place of a template).
- 0 to 15, provenance. 10 when the files come from the publisher's own organisation, the one its site or docs link to, and 5 for a checksum on every file.
- 0 to 20, safety evaluation. 20 when results are published and someone other than the publisher ran them or can rerun them, 10 for the publisher's own results, 0 for none.
- 0 to 15, guidance for agent use. 15 for documented prompt-injection guidance or an instruction hierarchy the model was trained to follow, 10 for a statement of what its trained refusals cover and the safeguards to add around it, 5 for general cautions, 0 for none.
- 0 to 15, licence risk. 15 to start, 5 off for each of these, a use policy or field-of-use limits beyond the law, terms the licensor can change or revoke, a revenue or user threshold, and a licence that changed without a dated note or whose link is broken. Not below 0.
- 0 to 10, a security programme. 5 for a way to report a flaw (security.txt, a disclosure policy or a security contact), 5 for advisories handled in public.

When our reference-machine runs start, measured robustness (prompt injection with AgentDojo, over-refusal with XSTest) joins Risk.

## 2. Documentation and upkeep, 21 out of 100, up to 7.9 more on the total

Why it scored 21: The card misses limitations, named languages and a cut-off (11).

The checklist (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#checklist-upkeep):

- 0 to 20, the model card. Intended use, limitations, architecture, parameters, context length, languages and knowledge cut-off. 20 for all seven, 3 off for each that's missing.
- 0 to 20, training data. 20 for the data published or listed with sources and sizes, 15 for a data card that names the sources or the mix, the cut-off and the filtering, 10 for a general description with a cut-off, 5 without one, 0 for none.
- 0 to 20, the last change to the files, the template or the reference code. 20 within 30 days, 15 within 90, 10 within 180, 5 within a year, 0 older.
- 0 to 20, responsiveness. The publisher's replies to the 40 most recent questions and reports in the repository's discussions or issues. 20 for most, 10 for some, 5 for a few, 0 for none.
- 0 to 10, version policy. 10 for earlier versions kept in their own repositories with a dated note when one is replaced, 5 for earlier versions kept without notes or a first release, 0 when files were replaced in place without a note.
- 0 to 10, file health. 10 when config, tokenizer, template and card agree and no report of a broken file waits without a reply, 5 when one does, 0 when the files contradict the card.

## 3. Capability, 81 out of 100, up to 6.7 more on the total

Why it scored 81: From 4 independent benchmark results in 2 areas, each scored as its share of the way from the benchmark's floor to the best result any model has on the same leaderboard. By area, Retrieval 81, Other MTEB task types 81. Publisher-submitted results count at half weight, and numbers that appear only on the publisher's card don't count.

The checklist (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#checklist-capability):

How well the model does on the benchmarks that matter to an agent. We don't average a publisher's own numbers into a grade. A result counts in full when we ran it on our reference machine, or when an independent party ran it and published the method (the Berkeley Function Calling Leaderboard, Artificial Analysis, Epoch AI's Benchmarking Hub, the SWE-bench and Terminal-Bench leaderboards, the Open ASR Leaderboard and others that run models themselves). A result the publisher submitted to such a leaderboard counts at half weight. A number that appears only on the publisher's card is shown on the listing as the publisher's claim and doesn't count.

Each result is scored as its share of the way from the benchmark's floor (chance for multiple choice, zero for a pass rate) to the best result any model, open or closed, has on the same leaderboard and setting on the day we read it. A model that matches the best model anywhere scores 100 on that benchmark. For an error rate such as word error rate, lower is better and the scale runs the other way, and where the leaderboard gives no floor the rate is read against the best model's, so twice the best model's error rate scores 50. Speed as a multiple of real time (RTFx) runs from about 1 to over 20,000, so it's read on a log scale from real time to the fastest model. On the MTEB leaderboard, where most models score between 0.5 and 0.75, the floor is the median of every model the same tab lists, and its results count at half weight because MTEB doesn't say who ran them and most are submitted with the model. An arena rating (Elo) isn't a ratio, so its floor is 400 points below the best model on that arena, the gap at which the better model wins about ten games in eleven. Where a model has results at several settings (reasoning effort, say), its best one counts, because that's the setting an agent would run.

The results group into areas, each weighted within the category.

- Tool calling and agent tasks, 35 (BFCL, τ²-bench, Terminal-Bench and agent suites like them)
- Coding, 20 (SWE-bench Verified, LiveCodeBench, Aider Polyglot)
- Reasoning and knowledge, 20 (GPQA Diamond, MMLU-Pro, Humanity's Last Exam, composite indexes that publish their components)
- Instruction following, 15 (IFEval, IFBench)
- Long context, 10 (RULER, LongBench and long-context retrieval tests)

A speech model is read on its own areas, recognition accuracy (word error rate on the Open ASR Leaderboard's sets, 60) and speed (real-time factor, 40) for speech to text, and intelligibility and speaker similarity (Seed-TTS-eval, the Open TTS Leaderboard, 70) and speed (30) for text to speech. A publisher's own converted copy of the same weights (Qwen's -hf builds, say) counts as the same checkpoint. An embedding model is read on retrieval (60) and the other MTEB task types, classification, clustering, reranking and similarity among them (40), from the MTEB leaderboard. A vision model adds an image area (MMMU, ChartQA, DocVQA or OCRBench) at 20, and the others shrink to fit.

Capability is the weighted mean of the areas with results, and needs results in at least two areas (one for a speech or embedding model). With less than that it's pending for that listing, its weight is shared across the other four, and the total is capped at 61, so a model nobody has benchmarked independently can't reach B, and every model with results ranked B or better stays above it. The listing says so. Until 21 October 2026 the cap was 69, which put models nobody had benchmarked above ones that had been.

## 4. Agent interface, 65 out of 100, up to 3.5 more on the total

Why it scored 65: Read for an embedding model, the tool-calling and structured-output lines stand for what it takes and returns.

The checklist (https://www.anchorterminal.com/benchmark/#checklist-interface):

What a model and a developer need to talk to it. Speech, image and other models with no chat interface read the tool-calling and structured-output lines for what the model takes and returns (voices, timestamps, streaming, typed outputs), and the note says how.

- 0 to 20, the chat template. 20 for a template in the repository (Jinja, in the tokenizer config or its own file), 10 when the prompt format is only given as code you run.
- 0 to 25, the tool-calling format. 25 when the publisher documents how tools are declared and how calls come back, with the parser to use in a named runtime, 10 when only the template or a runtime's own recipe says it.
- 0 to 20, tool calling the model was trained for. 20 with several calls in one turn, 10 for one call at a time.
- 0 to 15, structured output. 15 when JSON or JSON Schema output is documented for the model with how to ask for it, 5 when the card claims it without saying how.
- 10, reasoning control. Thinking that can be turned off or budgeted per request, with where the reasoning text comes back.
- 0 to 10, context. 10 for 128K tokens or more trained, 5 for 32K to 127K. Context reached only by scaling the position encoding counts one band down.

## What we couldn't check

What we couldn't read counted as absent. Publishing it on a page a plain HTTP fetch can read (not only in a browser) lets the next check count it.

- The repository has no LICENSE file and neither does QwenLM/Qwen3-Embedding; terms and licence risk read the card's metadata and Qwen's blog by the settled rule
- Unchecked, GitHub issues on QwenLM/Qwen3-Embedding, since the GitHub API isn't enabled for this session
- Unchecked and scored as absent, whether Alibaba's group security response centre takes reports about Qwen models
- The chat template line reads the shipped Qwen3 template as not the prompt format; a literal reading would give 20
- Training data reads the report's Table 6 as a description without a cut-off (5); a reader who takes it as a listing with sources and sizes would give 20
- File health reads two open pull requests about config.json as reports waiting without a reply; a reader who counts only discussions would give 10

## Weaknesses

- No change to the files or reference code since August 2025, and no reply from Qwen to any of its 16 questions
- GGUF files and the tokenizer were replaced in place without a note, and the Q8_0 file was truncated for almost three weeks in 2025
- No LICENSE file in the repository or in Qwen's GitHub repository for the series
- No safety evaluation, agent guidance or security contact
- 32K tokens of context, and the card's Transformers example truncates at 8,192

## What costs an agent a turn today

The notes we give agents before they call it. Each one is a workaround an agent shouldn't need.

- Quickest start is `ollama pull qwen3-embedding:4b`, about 2.5 GB, then POST to /api/embed
- With llama.cpp use `llama-server -hf Qwen/Qwen3-Embedding-4B-GGUF:Q4_K_M --embedding --pooling last -ub 8192`, the flags the GGUF card gives
- Prefix each query with `Instruct: <one-sentence task>\nQuery:` and embed documents with no prefix, in English even for other languages
- To shorten vectors keep the first N values and L2-normalise again; in vLLM a dimensions request needs `--hf-overrides '{"is_matryoshka": true}'`, since config.json doesn't declare it
- If you downloaded the Q8_0 GGUF between 15 July and 3 August 2025, fetch it again and check its SHA-256 against the Hub
- Treat retrieved documents as untrusted text before passing them to a model

## What the review panel asked for

- date file replacements
- answer the config.json pull requests
- a LICENSE file
- raise the example's truncation
- drop trust_remote_code from the examples
- a security contact

## When it's done

Send what changed and where it's published as a dispute (https://www.anchorterminal.com/builders/#disputes, or `POST https://www.anchorterminal.com/api/v1/contact` with `"kind": "dispute"`). Disputes are answered in public, and the listing is checked again by the same checklist. Paying for an audit or a listing claim changes nothing here.

What we couldn't check

  • File health reads two open pull requests about config.json as reports waiting without a reply; a reader who counts only discussions would give 10

Probe metrics

Not measured yet. Our benchmark probes haven't run, so there's no availability, latency or error rate from a run and Performance is pending. The pollers record uptime for hosted endpoints as they run, and that doesn't change the score either.

Pricing & changes

Free Free Free to download and use, commercial use included, under Apache 2.0 as the card's metadata states. Running it yourself costs the hardware, 8.1 GB for the BF16 files and 2.5 GB for Qwen's own Q4_K_M GGUF. DeepInfra hosts it through Hugging Face, and SiliconFlow lists it at $0.02 per million input tokens (checked 2026-10-21).
