Verdicts

Gemini Spark

Google's help pages state what Spark confirms before doing, how to delete its remote browser and code data, and the risks of prompt injection. Spark has no public API, Google calls it experimental, and it runs only with Keep Activity on, the setting under which chats are used for model training and human review.

NanoClaw

Each session runs in an unprivileged Docker container and API keys stay in a credential gateway on the host, so a manipulated agent cannot read them. Inside the container the agent runs with permission prompts off, network egress is open by default, and it can message any chat it is wired to without approval.

Before you call either

Gemini Spark

  1. Do not plan an integration against Spark. No public API or MCP server was found, and a person must hold a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription
  2. Expect a confirmation request before sends, edits, purchases and web form submissions, and note that bulk changes to private Google Tasks run without one
  3. Delete remote browser data and remote code execution data in Gemini Spark Settings after a sensitive session. Deleting a task thread or Gemini Apps activity does not remove them
  4. Keep within 15 running tasks and 50 active schedules. A schedule does not run when 15 tasks are running or the usage limit is reached
  5. Treat every safety statement here as Google's own description. None was tested, and no message was sent to the service

NanoClaw

  1. Install with git clone and bash nanoclaw.sh. There is no registry package, and setup needs Docker, Node 22 or later and a Claude or Codex credential
  2. Set NANOCLAW_EGRESS_LOCKDOWN=true before giving an agent credentials or an audience of strangers. The default leaves egress open
  3. Put chats with different audiences in separate agent groups. Every session of a group shares one read-write workspace and memory tree
  4. Turn on per-request approval for a secret in the gateway when its use should wait for a person. It is off unless configured
  5. On OneCLI installs, move the gateway to 1.42.0 by the upgrade guide before updating to 2026.10.0. The updater stops until that is done
