status.attio.com moved to incident.io, with five components and data back to August 2020 (20). Its feed and 90-day bars show four incidents from 4 August to 2 November 2026, all partial. On 8 September, "Platform avaliblity issues", intermittent availability problems on Attio Cloud and the web client from 17:05 to monitoring at 17:24 UTC. On 28 September workflow execution and webhook delivery ran late for about 4 hours. On 6 October formula updates and on 12 October bulk record deletions were delayed on Background Tasks. Minor incidents only (20). Rate limits published, 100 reads and 25 writes a second, plus score-based limits on list queries in a 10-second window (15). 429s carry a Retry-After date and a JSON body, and the docs say rate-limited requests weren't processed and can be retried. Upsert (assert) endpoints give a safe retry for creates, but there's no idempotency key (12 of 15). No SLA found on the pricing page (0). REST v2 and the MCP server carry no beta label, though several newer endpoints do (10). 20 + 20 + 15 + 12 + 0 + 10 = 77.

Graded as a hosted service on the REST API and hosted MCP server. No status page is linked from the site or docs, and status.breakcold.com failed the TLS handshake (0). With no readable history the incident line scores 5. Rate limits published per organisation (600 a minute), workspace (300), identity or key (180) and route (120), for REST and MCP (15). 429 carries Retry-After and retryAfterMs, the docs give backoff guidance, and creates take an Idempotency-Key so retries return the original result (15). No SLA found in the services agreement summary, the pricing page or the docs (0). Neither surface is marked beta (10). 0 + 5 + 15 + 15 + 0 + 10 = 45.

Attio API + MCP 30

No x402, MPP or L402 (0). Plan prices public (Plus $35 yearly or $44 monthly, Pro $79 or $99 a seat a month) and credit packs priced from $70 a month, but no per-call price for the API (10). Free plan for 3 seats with API, webhooks, the App SDK and MCP, and the page says no credit card is required (20). A person signs up in a browser and makes the key or approves OAuth (0). 0 + 10 + 20 + 0 = 30.

No x402, MPP or L402 (0). Plan prices are public, and each call's cost in usage tokens is published, but the money value of a token is not (10). The 14-day trial needs a card (0). auth.md documents an agent identity endpoint that takes an identity assertion or an anonymous request followed by a claim by a person, which we read and did not call; access still needs a paid or card-backed trial account (5 of 20). 0 + 10 + 0 + 5 = 15.

Three public OpenAPI files (API, standard objects, webhooks) at api.attio.com/openapi, per the 1 October check (25). llms.txt now lists 399 links, with Markdown copies of every page (10). Each MCP tool gets a one-line purpose and example prompts in the docs. We couldn't read the hosted server's own tool definitions, so when-not-to-use guidance is unchecked (12 of 20). Typed parameters in the OpenAPI, but filters are a nested JSON object the agent has to build (11 of 15). Examples on reference pages and a documented error body with status_code, type, code and message (12 of 15). Dated public changelogs for the REST API, the MCP server and the App SDK, but no versioning or deprecation policy beyond the v2 path (12 of 15). 25 + 10 + 12 + 11 + 12 + 12 = 82.

OpenAPI 3.1 contract at docs.breakcold.com/api/openapi.json with 70 operations, each with a description (25). llms.txt and a Markdown copy of each page, plus auth.md and an MCP server card (10). Tool descriptions say how to use them, such as records_create asking for every required field and a stable idempotency key and the send tools saying to send only after the user confirms (17 of 20). 84 enums and 488 required lists, with typed attribute pages for each field type (13 of 15). Every operation documents 400 to 429 responses and the error body is shown, but the spec carries only two examples (10 of 15). /api/v1, and an API changelog with dated entries and migration steps (15). 25 + 10 + 17 + 13 + 10 + 15 = 90.

Attio API + MCP 62

The MCP server now lists 48 tools, after delete-task on 1 October and six activity tools on 14 October 2026, with no toolsets, no read-only subset and no dynamic loading (5). Semantic search tools over notes, emails and call recordings save a few listing calls (3 more, 8 of 25). REST lists take limit, offset, filters and sorts, and comment threads paginate at 80 replies and 250 comments a page (20). Errors carry a machine code and a message, and 429s say when to retry (15 of 20). The docs say the server uses MCP safety annotations, with reads auto-approved and writes asking the user to confirm in the client, and REST has upsert endpoints. We didn't read the annotations on the tools themselves (12 of 20). No official REST SDK in any language. The npm package attio is the App SDK CLI, not an API client (7 of 15). 8 + 20 + 15 + 12 + 7 = 62.

72 MCP tools (5), with tools_search and capabilities_list to find tools by capability or granted scope, and scopes that limit which tools apply (8 back). Cursor pagination, record search and a fields selection on record lists since 3 November (18 of 20). Errors carry a code, message, requestId and retryAfterMs, and the 4 November changelog removed stack frames from messages (17 of 20). Idempotency keys on creates, and compose and send tools return a non-sending draft by default; MCP annotations are not published (14 of 20). No official SDK; setup is one URL with OAuth (5 of 15). 13 + 18 + 17 + 14 + 5 = 67.
