## Before you call it

1. Connect with a drafts-only or read-only key unless the task must send, and widen permissions only when an error names the missing scope
2. Send an `Idempotency-Key` with each transactional send and reuse it unchanged after an uncertain result
3. Read `structuredContent.error.code` and `howToFix` on a failed tool call before retrying; the client doesn't retry
4. Call `get_account` and `select_company` first when the key can reach more than one workspace
5. On 429 wait for Retry-After and read the RateLimit-Remaining header
