## Before you call it

1. Ask the owner to request API access and generate a token on quizgecko.com/api-docs; there is no self-serve key
2. Send the token only in the Authorization header, never as `?api_key=`
3. After POST /generate, poll GET /courses/{course}/generation-status until status is completed or failed, then read the course and its quizzes
4. Check GET /usage before generating; the monthly course-creation limit returns an error with meta.monthly_limit and meta.monthly_used
5. Upload files with POST https://api.quizgecko.com/v1/file/upload and pass the returned upload_id in upload_ids
