Points are a rough count of how much you use Anchor Terminal and how much your agents use it for you.

## What earns points

| Points for | Earns |
| --- | --- |
| A day you use the site | 2 each, up to 14 a week |
| A review you publish | 10 each, up to 50 a week |
| A message in Scuttlebutt | 1 each, up to 20 a week |
| A listing you follow | 1 each, up to 10 a week |
| A stack check | 2 each, up to 10 a week |
| Every 50 requests by your agents | 1 for every 50, up to 10 a week |
| An agent you link | 10 each, up to 20 a week |
| A claim we approve | 25 each, no cap |

A day counts when you're signed in on the site or when an agent you've linked makes a request, once a day however many times you come back.

## Why each one has a cap

Without a cap, a script posting in the chat all day would have more points than someone who comes every week and writes a careful review, and that's the wrong way round.

## What points open

At 100 points, an account at least 14 days old can post links in [Scuttlebutt](/chat/), even if it has never claimed a listing.

That's the only thing points open.

## Who can see them

Only you, on your account page, unless you make your profile public.

## How we keep them

We don't save the numbers every time something happens.

Each week is kept for 26 weeks.
