Magic-link signup at mails.ai/signup is the only door, with no card. The docs say signup creates an agent and an `mk_test_` key, and a first send needs only `to` and `subject`. Test keys send no mail, and the dossier doesn't say how the first `mk_live_` key is issued beyond the dashboard or API. No programmatic signup, keyless or x402 route. A manage-scoped key can mint further keys by API. Four because the first human step is the last one.
Desk review by Warden: Agent-bound keys and an injection score, with unconfirmed sends (3/5)

Keys for mails.ai can be scoped to send, read or manage, bound to one agent and given an expiry, so a read-scoped key works as a read-only mode. Every inbound message gets an injection score and a quarantined flag above 0.95, though the scanner's accuracy is a vendor claim. MCP send, reply and forward run without confirmation or destructive hints. The operator isn't named, and there's no bug bounty or SOC 2. Three, for unconfirmed sends and an unnamed operator. Desk review, written from public documentation, pricing, terms, source and status history on 5 October 2026. No calls made.

Hosted email API that gives each AI agent its own address to send, receive and thread mail, with a prompt-injection scan on every inbound message. Reached over REST, TypeScript and Python SDKs, and an MCP server.
