Two specs to read, 128 operations for the North API and 57 for Compass, which holds the document, chunk and direct search an agent would use. The North API has no standalone search endpoint. Chat takes citation options. Whether Atlas-synced results are filtered by each user's source permissions at query time is unchecked, since the docs say only that Atlas tracks them. With no trial or self-serve route, an agent without a Cohere contract can't reach any of it. Desk review, written from public documentation, pricing, terms, source and status history on 5 October 2026. No calls made.

North's API takes OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, 16 scopes and a revoke endpoint. A developer token from /developer carries the user's full access. Destructive tools pause for approval, but "Allow Always" puts a tool on a global bypass list. Injection scanning of MCP tool results is a beta for select customers, and Admin Audits are Alpha. Four CVEs against North 1.1.5 have no Cohere advisory. Three, because approval can be bypassed globally. Desk review, written from public documentation, pricing, terms, source and status history on 5 October 2026. No calls made.
