Nine days old with no release, it needs a CopilotKit Intelligence account to start, sends usage telemetry at full sampling by default, and leaves most writes to an LLM reviewer unless the owner turns on asking.\n\n**Tasker AI.** Tasker AI is a freemium hosted assistant reached in Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS and email, with public plan prices from US$0. Its API, MCP and open-source claims couldn't be confirmed on 21 October 2026. No API documentation was found, and the npm package its API page tells developers to install doesn't exist.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### OpenDuet\n\n1. Follow the README's Quick start (`bun install`, `bash scripts/start.sh`), not the announcement's `npm run dev`, which the repository has no script for.\n2. Run `bun openbot/scripts/setup-learning.ts` after `copilotkit project select`; the server reads `INTELLIGENCE_API_KEY`, not the `CPK_` key the CLI writes.\n3. Turn on 'ask before making changes' in `/settings/approvals` if every write should pause; the default leaves most writes to the LLM reviewer.\n4. To bring your own agent, register it as a `remote-ag-ui` Bot in `agents.yaml`; its tool calls still pass through the gateway's policy and audit.\n5. Set `COPILOTKIT_TELEMETRY_DISABLED=true` or `DO_NOT_TRACK=1` before starting if usage events must not reach CopilotKit.\n\n### Tasker AI\n\n1. Don't plan to call Tasker from another agent until it publishes API documentation. GET api.tasker.ai/v1/tasks returned 404.\n2. Don't run npx create-tasker@latest. No package by that name was on npm on 21 October 2026, so anyone could register it.\n3. Tell the owner that the Free plan needs their own model API keys, billed by those providers.\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, OpenDuet or Tasker AI?\n\nOpenDuet scores 49.5 (D) on agent readiness against Tasker AI's 7.6 (F), and leads in every scored category.\n\n### Are OpenDuet and Tasker AI open source?\n\nOpenDuet is open source (MIT.
