Dots is a beta on Pro plans from $100 a month, and no status page, terms, privacy policy or way to delete individual saved notes was found in the pages we could read.\n\n**Talorys.** Talorys is an MIT-licensed assistant its owner deploys to their own Cloudflare account, with no telemetry, a documented threat model and code-enforced confirmation for destructive tools. It is two days old at version 0.1.5, has no mail, calendar or payment connections, and no interface for an outside agent.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Dots\n\n1. Say what may be sent. Asking a dot to draft replies does not permit sending them, and an action outside a stated scope needs another decision\n2. Stop three things separately. Pause stops the main task only, delegated tasks stop in Activity and recurring tasks in Scheduled, and completed actions are not undone\n3. Connect each thing separately. A messaging channel grants no access to an inbox, an app or a computer\n4. Sign out of websites and disconnect apps yourself when removing access. Revoking dots access or disconnecting an app does not delete information already obtained\n5. Keep the connected computer online with the ChatGPT app open for local work. Only one personal computer can be connected at a time\n\n### Talorys\n\n1. Run `npx create-talorys@latest` with Node.js 22 or later and a Cloudflare login or an API token with Workers, Pages and Workers AI permissions.\n2. Don't script the /api routes. They need the owner's session cookie and CSRF header and aren't documented for other callers.\n3. Update with `npx create-talorys@latest update`. Only the latest version gets security fixes.\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Dots or Talorys?\n\nTalorys and Dots score within a point of each other on agent readiness, 28.9 (F) and 28.3 (F). Dots leads on schema \u0026 documentation, agent ergonomics and security \u0026 auth.\n\n### Are Dots and Talorys open source?\n\nNo open-source release is listed for Dots. Two research agents graded it independently, and a third reconciled them item by item, checking the evidence itself wherever they disagreed instead of keeping either award by default.\n",
