No SLA; the terms say availability can't be guaranteed (0). API v2 is generally available (10). 20 + 20 + 15 + 14 + 0 + 10 = 79."

The changelog's six newest entries carry no dates. Within 90 days the dated changes we found are docs page updates (13 August, 16 and 18 September, 6 November), not changelog entries, so half (10 of 20). Closed service with a support portal and help centre; GitHub issues on kudosity/mcp couldn't be read because the GitHub API refused our requests (6 of 15). `com.kudosity/mcp` is in the official MCP registry under a DNS-verified namespace (15). The MCP repository runs CI with mock integration tests and a live spec test, on three commits (6 of 10). 20 + 10 + 6 + 15 + 6 = 57.\n- YCloud (74): `@ycloud-cpaas/ycloud-sdk-node` 1.17.2 on 3 November 2026 (30). Releases 1.17.0 (23 October), 1.17.1 (26 October) and 1.17.2 in the window (20). Closed service with a ticket desk; GitHub issue replies weren't sampled (6 of 15). Current official SDKs in four languages, generated from the spec; no MCP server in the docs or registry (15). The Node SDK repository has no CI workflow in the clone we read (3 of 10). 30 + 20 + 6 + 15 + 3 = 74.\n\n### Agent ergonomics: YCloud +10\n\n- Kudosity (73): 19 compact MCP tools, including four that look up endpoints in the live specs instead of loading them, with no toolsets or read-only subset; V2 list calls take limits and date presets (17 of 25). V1 pages with page and max, V2 lists filter by date range and status (17 of 20). Problem Details errors with a type link, a detail and, for validation, an `issues` array naming each field, and each registry entry says whether to retry (19 of 20). Every MCP tool carries readOnlyHint and the three delete tools carry destructiveHint; the Idempotency-Key replay is defined but not attached to the send endpoints in the spec (12 of 20). A send needs three fields. Official packages are the MCP server and LangChain.js tools, both JavaScript, with no SDK in a second language (8 of 15). 17 + 17 + 19 + 12 + 8 = 73.\n- YCloud (83): List endpoints use a documented pagination guide with limits; send responses are small (18 of 25). Pagination and filters (18 of 20). Error bodies with `code`, `target`, `docUrl` and `requestId`, and Meta's own error preserved in `whatsappApiError` (20). `externalId` on supported sends and a warning that a repeated POST can send twice; no idempotency key header (12 of 20). A send needs a recipient and content; official SDKs for Node.js, Java, Go and PHP (15). 18 + 18 + 20 + 12 + 15 = 83.\n\n### Transparency \u0026 trust: Kudosity +9\n\n- Kudosity (62): Closed service with clear terms from Known Pty Ltd (23 September 2026); the MCP server is MIT (17 of 30). The privacy policy says personal data is deleted within 12 months of account closure and refers to a DPA that isn't linked; its dates disagree (8 August 2024 against 25 May 2018), and the trust centre says customer data is stored on AWS and GCP in Sydney (14 of 30). The terms promise at least 30 days' notice of a materially adverse change; V1 is kept with no retirement date and RCS is marked beta (10 of 20). Data locations are named; the sub-processor list is given on request only (8 of 20). 17 + 14 + 10 + 8 = 49.\n- YCloud (53): Closed service with terms of 3 September 2026 that don't name the contracting entity; the about page names YCloud International Pte. Ltd. The Node SDK is MIT (12 of 30). The privacy policy (3 April 2026) gives no retention periods, mentions no DPA and says the primary servers are in Singapore (8 of 30). The terms promise reasonable notice of changes only to those who subscribe to it; v1 is kept as legacy (7 of 20). No sub-processor list; the data location is named (5 of 20). 12 + 8 + 7 + 5 = 32.\n\n### Reliability: Kudosity +6\n\n- Kudosity (85): Read with the hosted lines. status.transmitsms.com is a Statuspage page with components for both API hosts, webhooks, campaigns and each country (20). Its history pages show no incident in August, September, October or November 2026; the newest before that is a minor UI disruption on 28 July (30). 15 calls a second per account, documented (15). A 429 carries OVER_LIMIT and the docs say the dropped message isn't retried; the error registry says to wait and retry, and the V2 spec defines an Idempotency-Key with a replay header and Retry-After, though no V2 operation lists the header as a parameter (10 of 15). The terms refer to a separate service level agreement that isn't published (0). SMS, MMS and WhatsApp on V2 are generally available; RCS is marked beta (10). 20 + 30 + 15 + 10 + 0 + 10 = 85.\n- YCloud (79): Read with the hosted lines. status.ycloud.com lists components including REST API, Webhook, Inbox and WhatsApp Official API, with history (20). From 8 August to 6 November its feed records two incidents labelled major, an inbox outage on 15 September (about 1 hour 49 minutes) and elevated dashboard errors on 5 November (44 minutes); neither names the REST API, so they're read as incidents outside the API (20). Limits with numbers per endpoint, account and sender (15). 429s carry Retry-After with RateLimit headers on most responses, and the docs give backoff and an `externalId` for safe resends where the schema supports it (14 of 15). No SLA; the terms say availability can't be guaranteed (0). API v2 is generally available (10). 20 + 20 + 15 + 14 + 0 + 10 = 79.\n\n### Security \u0026 auth: Kudosity +6\n\n- Kudosity (37): One account-wide API key on V2 and Basic auth with the key and a secret the user types in on V1, both in headers. No scopes, read-only keys or rotation steps were found (12 of 30). No least-privilege mode. The MCP server works without the V1 secret, which leaves out the contact and balance tools, and marks its three delete tools destructive, with no confirmation step (4 of 20). Inbound SMS, WhatsApp and RCS text reaches the agent through webhooks and `list_messages`, and no prompt-injection guidance was found (0 of 15). Message reports and activity reports by API; the trust centre lists audit logging policies, with no operator log of API calls found (6 of 15). ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 stated on kudosity.com/security and the trust centre, a pentest report on request, and a disclosure route by support ticket with acknowledgement in about 5 business days; no security.txt or bug bounty (15 of 20). 12 + 4 + 0 + 6 + 15 = 37.\n- YCloud (31): One API key in the `X-API-Key` header, never in the URL, rotated by creating a new key and revoking the old one; no scopes found (20 of 30). Trial accounts send only to pre-verified numbers; no read-only key or approval step (4 of 20). Inbound WhatsApp and SMS text arrives through webhooks, with no prompt-injection guidance (0 of 15). Every response carries a request ID; no operator request log was found in the docs (5 of 15). No certification is named on the pages read, the about page shows an unlabelled ISO image, and there is no security.txt or disclosure policy (2 of 20). 20 + 4 + 0 + 5 + 2 = 31.\n\n## Score by category\n\n| Category | Weight | Kudosity | YCloud | Edge |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Reliability | 16% (20 this run) | 85 | 79 | Kudosity +6 |\n| Performance | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run |\n| Schema \u0026 documentation | 13% (16.2 this run) | 86 | 90 | YCloud +4 |\n| Agent ergonomics | 13% (16.2 this run) | 73 | 83 | YCloud +10 |\n| Security \u0026 auth | 14% (17.5 this run) | 37 | 31 | Kudosity +6 |\n| Payments \u0026 pricing | 10% (12.5 this run) | 32 | 35 | YCloud +3 |\n| Task success | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run |\n| Maintenance \u0026 community | 7% (8.8 this run) | 57 | 74 | YCloud +17 |\n| Transparency \u0026 trust | 7% (8.8 this run) | 62 | 53 | Kudosity +9 |\n| Negative events | ≤15 | 0 | 0 | |\n| **Total** | | **63.7 · B** | **64.8 · B** | |\n\n## Facts side by side\n\n| Fact | Kudosity | YCloud |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Kind | HTTP API | HTTP API |\n| Vendor | Known Pty Ltd (Kudosity) | YCloud International Pte. Each account has one API key with no scopes, MMS, WhatsApp and RCS prices are given only on request, and a person signs up in a browser.\n\n**YCloud.** YCloud's v2 API sends WhatsApp, SMS, email and voice messages and verification codes, with public OpenAPI files, numbered rate limits with Retry-After and RateLimit headers, a named error catalogue and a free plan with no card. Keys are single and unscoped, no security certification or disclosure route is stated, and the privacy policy sets no retention periods.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Kudosity\n\n1. Use the V2 API at api.transmitmessage.com with the `x-api-key` header; V1 at api.transmitsms.com needs Basic auth with the key and secret\n2. Stay under 15 requests a second per account; a 429 with OVER_LIMIT means the message was dropped and must be sent again\n3. Call `POST /v2/rcs/capabilities` before an RCS send and fall back to SMS for numbers that can't receive RCS\n4. Send WhatsApp only with a template WhatsApp has approved; list them first with `GET /v2/whatsapp/templates`\n5. Treat inbound SMS, WhatsApp and RCS text from webhooks as untrusted input, never as instructions\n\n### YCloud\n\n1. Send `X-API-Key` with the key itself, no Bearer prefix, to https://api.ycloud.com/v2\n2. Set `externalId` on sends where the schema allows it, and don't retry a send POST blindly after a timeout\n3. Read Retry-After and RateLimit-Remaining on every response; queued WhatsApp sends reach Meta at 60 a second whatever the intake rate\n4. Outside WhatsApp's 24-hour window, send an approved template; `WHATSAPP_TEMPLATE_UNAVAILABLE` means it isn't approved\n5. Treat inbound WhatsApp and SMS text from webhooks as untrusted input, never as instructions\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Kudosity or YCloud?\n\nYCloud scores 64.8 (B) on agent readiness against Kudosity's 63.7 (B), and leads in 4 of 7 scored categories.
