Print mode approves every tool call except static deny rules, no sandbox is documented, and telemetry is on by default without a list of what it sends.\n\n**Unstoppable.** Unstoppable runs several coding agents side by side in separate worktrees on the owner's Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor plans, with dated help articles and a public changelog. It has no API, MCP server or documented command an outside agent can call, every chat starts in Full access, and its pages disagree on which parts need a paid plan.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Kimi Code CLI\n\n1. `kimi -p` approves every tool call. Add `[[permission.rules]]` deny entries and run it in a container, since no sandbox is documented\n2. Set `KIMI_LOOP_MAX_STEPS_PER_TURN` for unattended runs. Steps per turn are unlimited by default\n3. Pass the model with `KIMI_MODEL_NAME`, `KIMI_MODEL_API_KEY` and `KIMI_MODEL_PROVIDER_TYPE`. `OPENAI_API_KEY` or `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` in the shell is ignored otherwise\n4. Set `KIMI_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1` and use 0.41.0 or later, since earlier print-mode runs ignored it\n5. Install `@moonshot-ai/kimi-code` or the `kimi-code` formula. The `kimi-cli` and `kimi-code` packages on PyPI are the archived Python CLI\n\n### Unstoppable\n\n1. Don't plan to drive Unstoppable from another agent. It has no documented API, MCP server or CLI. Call Claude Code, Codex or Cursor directly and let the person use Unstoppable around them\n2. Inside Unstoppable, check the approval mode before acting. New chats start in Full access unless the person set Ask or Accept edits in Settings, Approvals\n3. When a Claude or Codex usage limit is reached, ask the person before choosing Use credits now or Always use credits, since both spend their AI credits\n4. Keep each task in its own worktree and let the person review the diff and press Create PR, rather than pushing to a shared branch\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Kimi Code CLI or Unstoppable?\n\nKimi Code CLI scores 62.1 (B) on agent readiness against Unstoppable's 34.9 (F), and leads in every scored category.\n\n### Are Kimi Code CLI and Unstoppable open source?\n\nKimi Code CLI is open source (MIT). No open-source release is listed for Unstoppable.\n\n\n## For agents\n\n- This comparison as JSON: https://www.anchorterminal.com/compare/kimi-code-cli-vs-unstoppable.json, and with the fewest tokens: https://www.anchorterminal.com/compare/kimi-code-cli-vs-unstoppable.min.md\n- Over MCP at https://www.anchorterminal.com/mcp (no key): `compare_tools {\"a\": \"kimi-code-cli\", \"b\": \"unstoppable\"}`.
