Pro is $20 per identity a month billed yearly ($23 monthly) with 30-day audit logs and rotation. Advanced is $40 per identity a month billed yearly ($46 monthly) with 90-day audit logs, dynamic secrets and higher rate limits. Pro and Advanced trials need no card. Enterprise is custom, with custom audit retention and rate limits and a 99.99 per cent monthly availability SLA with service credits (https://infisical.com/sla). Agent Proxy is on Free and Pro for static secrets, and Agent Proxy for dynamic secrets is listed as coming soon. Cloud rate limits are per client IP, 600 requests a minute overall, then Free 200 reads, 90 writes and 120 secret operations a minute, Pro 350, 200 and 300. Self-hosting the MIT core is free with no rate limits; the code under ee/ needs an Enterprise licence (https://infisical.com/pricing, https://infisical.com/docs/api-reference/overview/rate-limits).",

Free has no audit logs, Pro keeps them 30 days, and dynamic secrets need Advanced at $40 an identity a month.\n\n**Phase.** Service account tokens can be minted with an expiry over the API, every secret read is logged, and the CLI redacts values when it detects an AI agent. No OpenAPI document or pagination was found in the reviewed documentation, and the Free plan keeps audit logs for 24 hours.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Infisical\n\n1. Run a coding agent under `infisical agent-vault run` with a bundle that allows only the hosts, methods and paths it needs, and set --ttl to the job length\n2. Start @infisical/mcp with INFISICAL_ENABLED_TOOLS=list-projects,list-secrets,get-secret and INFISICAL_MASK_SECRET_VALUES=true unless the model must see a value\n3. Log in once with Universal Auth and keep the access token for its TTL, since identity logins count against the per-IP write limit\n4. Pass viewSecretValue=false to GET /api/v4/secrets when you only need names, and expandSecretReferences=true when values reference other secrets\n5. On a 429 read the seconds from the message field and wait that long; don't retry a POST after a 5xx without checking it didn't land\n\n### Phase\n\n1. Enable server-side encryption on the app before calling `/v1/secrets`. Without it the REST API cannot read or write that app's secrets\n2. Send `Authorization: Bearer ServiceAccount \u003ctoken\u003e` for a service account and `Bearer User \u003ctoken\u003e` for a personal access token. The token type is part of the header\n3. Stay under 120 requests a minute per account on Free and 240 on Pro, and wait the seconds in the `retry-after` header on a 429\n4. Treat a 409 on `POST /v1/secrets` as the key already existing at that path, and use `PUT` to change it. Rotating secrets reject `PUT` and `DELETE`\n5. Have a person run `phase ai enable` and choose masked values. The CLI blocks an agent from running `phase ai enable` or `phase ai disable` itself\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Infisical or Phase?\n\nInfisical scores 83.7 (A) on agent readiness against Phase's 68 (B), and leads in every scored category.\n\n### Do Infisical and Phase need an API key?\n\nBoth take an API key or an OAuth sign-in.\n\n### Can an agent call Infisical and Phase without installing anything?\n\nYes. Infisical has a hosted endpoint at https://app.infisical.com/api and Phase at https://api.phase.dev.\n\n### Are Infisical and Phase open source?\n\nYes. Infisical is open source (MIT (core), proprietary under ee/). Phase is open source (MIT outside the `ee/` directories, which are under the proprietary Phase Console Enterprise licence).\n\n\n## For agents\n\n- This comparison as JSON: https://www.anchorterminal.com/compare/infisical-vs-phase.json, and with the fewest tokens: https://www.anchorterminal.com/compare/infisical-vs-phase.min.md\n- Over MCP at https://www.anchorterminal.com/mcp (no key): `compare_tools {\"a\": \"infisical\", \"b\": \"phase\"}`.
