Ahead on: - Reliability, 86 against 80 - Schema & documentation, 76 against 45 - Agent ergonomics, 76 against 45 - Security & auth, 68 against 22 - Payments & pricing, 40 against 30 - Maintenance & community, 89 against 9 - Transparency & trust, 74 against 61 Also in its favour: - Agent-ready, a grade of BB or better - Runs on your own machine - Free to start without a card - Open source Watch for: The API tools take a path and a JSON string and don't validate payloads, so correct calls depend on the bundled skills ### Woopra (E) Good for: An agent that reads a company's existing Woopra reports, looks up or edits customer profiles, or exports raw sessions on a schedule. Also in its favour: - No incidents deducted, where GrowthBook loses 3 points for them Watch for: Report endpoints run a report saved in the web app by `report_id`. No endpoint to define a query, funnel or segment was found in the reference ## Score by category | Category | Weight | GrowthBook | Woopra | Edge | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Reliability | 16% (20 this run) | 86 | 80 | GrowthBook +6 | | Performance | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run | | Schema & documentation | 13% (16.2 this run) | 76 | 45 | GrowthBook +31 | | Agent ergonomics | 13% (16.2 this run) | 76 | 45 | GrowthBook +31 | | Security & auth | 14% (17.5 this run) | 68 | 22 | GrowthBook +46 | | Payments & pricing | 10% (12.5 this run) | 40 | 30 | GrowthBook +10 | | Task success | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run | | Maintenance & community | 7% (8.8 this run) | 89 | 9 | GrowthBook +80 | | Transparency & trust | 7% (8.8 this run) | 74 | 61 | GrowthBook +13 | | Negative events | ≤15 | -3 | 0 | | | **Total** | | **70.1 · BB** | **44.4 · E** | | ## Facts side by side | Fact | GrowthBook | Woopra | | --- | --- | --- | | Kind | HTTP API | HTTP API | | Vendor | GrowthBook, Inc. | Woopra, Inc. | | Hosted endpoint | `https://mcp.growthbook.io/mcp` | `https://www.woopra.com/rest/3.10` | | Transports | HTTP, Streamable HTTP, stdio | HTTP | | Auth | OAuth or key | OAuth or key | | Pricing | Freemium | Paid | | x402 | no | no | | Licence | MIT for the core and for the MCP server. The free plan needs no card. The API tools pass paths and JSON bodies through without validation, every key is limited to 60 requests a minute, and audit logs are Enterprise only. **Woopra.** Woopra's REST API returns saved Trends, Journeys, Retention and Attribution reports, profiles and raw session logs, with published limits of 300 calls a minute and 3,000 a day per project. A report must first be built in the web app, the tracking endpoints accept events without a secret by default, and no changelog or SLA was found. ## Before you call either ### GrowthBook 1. Connect to https://mcp.growthbook.io/mcp and complete OAuth in a browser. Use https://mcp.growthbook.io/mcp/api for the two API tools alone 2. Call `growthbook_list_skills` and `growthbook_read_skill` before writing. The API tools don't validate payloads, so use the paths the skill names 3. Stay under 60 requests a minute per key. On 429 wait for the `RateLimit-Reset` seconds before retrying 4. List calls return 10 items by default. Pass `limit` up to 100 and `offset` to page 5. A 422 is a soft warning. Resubmit with `?ignoreWarnings=true` only after reading the message ### Woopra 1. Ask the owner to build and save each report in the web app first, then pass the last path segment of its URL as `report_id` 2. Authenticate REST calls with HTTP Basic, using the App ID and Secret Key from the Access Keys tab, against `https://www.woopra.com/rest/3.10/` 3. Stay under 300 calls a minute, 600 an hour and 3,000 a day per project. A 429 carries no documented retry interval, so back off on your own schedule 4. Reuse the `snapshot` ID from the first response when paging with `offset`, or pages past 1,000 records may not agree 5. Send `cookie` or a `cv_` identifier such as `cv_email` on every track call. Without one the event lands on a random profile that can't be identified later 6. When reading `/logs/export`, delete the profile named in each `type: "delete"` line. The following lines log its data again under `new_id` ## Questions ### Which is better for AI agents, GrowthBook or Woopra?
