Watch for: About 306 MCP tools, with no toolsets or dynamic loading found

## Why the edge

### Schema & documentation: Sequenzy +36

- Dreamlit (59): The registry entry and the dreamlit-ai/dreamlit-mcp repository carry metadata only, so tool JSON Schemas are readable only inside a session; the docs give each tool's purpose and required scope (5 of 25). llms.txt, pricing.md and Markdown copies of docs pages (10). Tool descriptions say when to use each, such as `edit_workflow_steps` for exact edits without AI, and the publish pair's order (16 of 20). Parameter types aren't published beyond names such as `includeEmailHtml` and `startNewChat` (5 of 15). Example prompts and a troubleshooting section for each documented error state (10 of 15). A dated changelog; server version 0.1.0 in the registry (13 of 15). Total 59.
- Sequenzy (95): OpenAPI 3.1 at docs.sequenzy.com/openapi.yaml with 349 paths and 475 operations, all described (25). llms.txt on both hosts, llms-full.txt, auth.md, agents.md and Markdown twins of the docs (10). Operation and tool descriptions give purpose, the scope each needs and the alternative, such as the deprecated generate-sequence alias (18 of 20). Typed inputs, and tools reject undeclared arguments with an error naming the supported ones (13 of 15). Errors on nearly every operation (401 on 442, 404 on 330, 400 on 290) with examples, and a structured error with code, `howToFix` and `docsUrl` for tools (14 of 15). Version in the path and spec, and a dated changelog (15). Total 95.

### Payments & pricing: Sequenzy +30

- Dreamlit (10): No x402, MPP or L402 (0). Plan prices with included emails are public in pricing.md, no per-email overage price (10 of 20). No free plan for new accounts (0). Signup, database connection and payment happen in the web app (0). Total 10.
- Sequenzy (40): No x402, MPP or L402 (0). Prices are public as volume tiers from $19 for 15,000 emails to $2,999 for 5 million, without a per-email overage rate (10 of 20). Free plan of 2,500 emails a month with no card (20). Agents can register through `service_auth`, but the user has to confirm a code in a Sequenzy browser page, and plan payment is through Stripe (10 of 20). Total 40.

### Reliability: Dreamlit +13

- Dreamlit (51): Graded with the hosted lines. A Better Stack status page at status.dreamlit.ai with 90 days of history for the Web App and the Workflow Engine, but no component for the MCP server (16 of 20). The record shows 100% for the web app and 99.992% for the workflow engine over 90 days, about ten minutes, with no written incidents (25 of 30). No rate limits found in the MCP or pricing docs (0). No 429, retry or idempotency guidance found (0). Scale includes dedicated support with an SLA and Enterprise has custom SLAs, but no published availability commitment (0). The MCP server, introduced on 5 May 2026, carries no beta label (10). Total 51.
- Sequenzy (38): Graded with the hosted lines. No status page was found; none is linked from the site, llms.txt or docs, and status.sequenzy.com doesn't resolve (0). With no history to read, the incident line takes 5. 429 responses carry RateLimit-Limit and RateLimit-Remaining headers for a per-minute policy, and some routes state numbers (20 requests a minute per workspace for AI copy), but no table of limits per key was found (8 of 15). 429s carry Retry-After, sends take an `Idempotency-Key`, a reused key with a different body returns IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_REUSED, and the MCP docs say a retry hint alone doesn't make a write safe to repeat (15). No SLA found (0). No beta label on the API or MCP server (10). Total 38.

### Transparency & trust: Sequenzy +8

- Dreamlit (59): A closed service under terms that name Notika AI (d/b/a Dreamlit AI) (15 of 30). The privacy policy keeps workflow execution history and delivery events for up to a year, while the security docs say Dreamlit retains no copy of customer data and cleans up after processing, which don't agree (15 of 30). No deprecation policy or dated notices found (0). The privacy policy points to a current subprocessor list and SCCs in a DPA, and names the United States and other countries as locations (12 of 20). Total 42.
- Sequenzy (67): A closed service. The SDK, MCP server and CLI are MIT on npm. The terms (30 June 2026) don't name the contracting entity in their text or a governing jurisdiction; the footer names Nic Tech Solutions, LLC (15 of 30). Privacy policy of 16 September 2026 and a public DPA agree on processing, and the terms say data is deleted within 30 days of termination (24 of 30). Deprecated endpoints are marked and kept as compatibility aliases; no written deprecation policy with notice periods (10 of 20). The DPA names its core sub-processors with their purpose; data locations aren't stated (15 of 20). Total 64.

### Security & auth: Dreamlit +7

- Dreamlit (74): OAuth to one workspace with four scopes, and project-scoped personal access tokens with chosen scopes, shown once (30). A read-only grant is possible, publishing needs its own scope, `confirm_publish` runs only after the user approves the prepared payload, and a dedicated least-privilege database user reads the customer's data (20). The docs warn that AI clients can be tricked by untrusted prompts and tell users to review edit, publish and unpublish calls (8 of 15). The security page lists access logs for database operations and for the platform, and analytics expose run rows; no customer-facing log of MCP calls was described (8 of 15). The security page claims penetration testing and a bug bounty programme without a link, SOC 2 is coming soon, no security.txt (404), and the MCP repository's SECURITY.md routes reports to support (8 of 20). Total 74.
- Sequenzy (67): Workspace and account API keys with fine-grained permission scopes, presets and explicit `*:delete` rights, revocable in settings, plus an OAuth `service_auth` flow for agents with user confirmation (30). Read-only and drafts-only presets let an agent prepare mail without sending, and account keys keep the user's workspace role (20). The agent inbox and reply tracking give the agent inbound mail, and no prompt-injection guidance was found in the MCP, permissions or inbox docs (4 of 15). The DPA lists administrative audit logs and MCP events report replies and bounces; no per-call API log for the customer was found (8 of 15). A responsible disclosure address on the security page, no security.txt (404), bug bounty or certification (5 of 20). Total 67.

## Verdicts

**Dreamlit.** Scoped OAuth and a two-step prepare-then-confirm publish let an agent draft and test lifecycle workflows without sending anything live by mistake. There is no REST API or published rate limit, tool schemas aren't public outside a session, there's no free plan, and its security page and privacy policy disagree on retention.

**Sequenzy.** Scoped keys with read-only and drafts-only presets, a 475-operation OpenAPI spec, idempotent sends and near-daily dated releases make it workable for an agent. The MCP server lists about 306 tools, which is heavy on context, and there is no status page, SLA or published request limit table.

## Before you call either

### Dreamlit

1. Call `get_status` first to see the workspace, project setup state and prompting guidance
2. Use `send_workflow_test` to the user before `prepare_publish`, and call `confirm_publish` only after the user approves the returned payload
3. Request `workflows:read` and `analytics:read` only when the task is reporting, so the grant can't publish
4. Expect a browser hand-off link when setup or an unsupported edit needs the web app, and pass it to the user

### Sequenzy

1. Connect with a drafts-only or read-only key unless the task must send, and widen permissions only when an error names the missing scope
2. Send an `Idempotency-Key` with each transactional send and reuse it unchanged after an uncertain result
3. Read `structuredContent.error.code` and `howToFix` on a failed tool call before retrying; the client doesn't retry
4. Call `get_account` and `select_company` first when the key can reach more than one workspace
5. On 429 wait for Retry-After and read the RateLimit-Remaining header
