No rate limit is published for the REST API or the MCP tools. The only numbers are the export cap of 10 download starts a minute per connection and 100,000 contacts a file, the OAuth timers and input bounds such as 500 LinkedIn URLs a call, and the privacy policy mentions hashed rate-limit keys without a figure (5 of 15). No 429 or Retry-After is documented, and the REST errors are 401, 402, 500 and 502 with no retry guidance; every MCP mutation takes a request_id UUID replayed when retried with identical arguments, the workflows page says never to repeat a paid lookup with a new ID and to reconcile against the job list first, and a low balance returns fewer rows rather than failing, while a retried REST search has no idempotency key and is charged again (8 of 15). No SLA. The terms (last updated 31 October 2026) say uptime is not guaranteed and the service may change at any time (0). The REST API and the 30-tool MCP server carry no beta label, though the search response documents `search_id` as currently null and `counting` as currently false, and the server is unversioned (10). 0+5+5+8+0+10 = 28.",

The privacy policy (31 October 2026) lists the categories processed, the purposes, recipients by category, the agent connection data, and the access periods (authorization requests 10 minutes, codes 5, access tokens an hour, refresh 30 days, export links 15 minutes), says lead search uses Dievio's own contact database without saying where records are collected from, lets people in the database ask for access, correction, deletion or suppression by email, keeps records for as long as needed with no periods, and agrees with the terms and the docs on credits, revocation and link expiry; no DPA was found (14 of 30). The MCP reference says what each tool does, which tools are free, which scope each needs, when to prefer export_list_file over export_list and how to retry; the REST pages say what each endpoint returns and little about when to use search against lookup, and the MCP page says a preview does not unlock contacts and a count is not a guaranteed result (12 of 20). Filters are typed as strings, string arrays, booleans and integers with enumerations listed for seniority, department, employee size, business model, salary and email_status, bounds on page, limit, max_results and array length, and UUID ids; industries and locations are examples only, the funding dates are a year over REST and an ISO date over MCP, and the contact object for add_leads_to_list carries a free JSON lead_data field (10 of 15). curl examples with example responses for both REST endpoints, a pagination loop and six MCP worked prompts; errors are four status codes with one line each and no documented body, and the MCP error shape is not shown (8 of 15). No public status page was found. None is linked from the docs or the footer, https://dievio.com/status answers 404 and status.dievio.com does not resolve (0). No readable incident history, so the floor (5). 0+5+5+8+0+10 = 28.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (87): Graded with the hosted lines. Atlassian Statuspage at status.zoominfo.com with 16 components, among them ZoomInfo Enterprise API, Enrich and GTM Studio (20). The history page lists August to October 2026. It shows one major incident on GTM Studio audiences on 4 September lasting 93 minutes, an eight-hour audiences issue on 24 September marked no impact, a list-processing issue on 4 August, and none naming the API component (20 of 30). Limits published per package on three windows, from 5 a second on Builder to 35 on Scaling (15). 429 carries `Retry-After` and names the exhausted window, and rejected requests do not consume quota. No idempotency keys found for audience writes (12 of 15). The Licence Terms and Conditions guarantee 99.9 per cent monthly availability (10). API v1, MCP server and CLI carry no beta label (10).\n\n### Transparency \u0026 trust: ZoomInfo API + MCP +49\n\n- Dievio (27): Closed service. The terms (last updated 31 October 2026) cover use, credits, connected agents, a 30-day refund and availability in about 300 words but name no legal entity, address, governing law or jurisdiction, so the contracting party is unknown (8 of 30). No deprecation policy or notices; the terms allow the service to change at any time, and plan allowances and API prices changed between the 20 May and 31 October 2026 copies of the pricing pages with no dated notice (0 of 20). Service providers are named by category only (hosting, databases, authentication, contact processing, analytics, email delivery, payments), with no names, locations or transfer basis (4 of 20). 8+14+0+4 = 26.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (76): Closed service with published terms naming ZoomInfo Technologies LLC, and an MIT CLI (15 of 30). The privacy policy covers people in the database and customers, names sources (web scanning, third parties, a research team, customer contributions and ZoomInfo Lite email access), a Data Protection Officer contact and a removal route. Retention has no fixed period, and the pricing page says both that credits never expire and that they expire after 12 months (22 of 30). Two rate-limit headers carry a removal date of 1 January 2027 and breaking changes are promised only in a new API version, but superseded MCP tools carry no dates and no deprecation policy was found (10 of 20). Sub-processor list updated 17 July 2026 with locations and roles (18 of 20).\n\n### Maintenance \u0026 community: ZoomInfo API + MCP +48\n\n- Dievio (28): Closed service with no changelog, release notes or version numbers. The latest dated changes on the vendor's pages are the terms and privacy policy of 31 October 2026, which describe the agent integration, token lifetimes and export expiry, and blog posts of 21 and 30 October 2026 on API billing; the MCP server, absent from the February and May 2026 archived copies, carries no date, and the API landing pages say content reviewed May 2026 (20 of 30). No release record, so no three dated entries in 90 days; 84 dated blog posts from 29 March to 30 October 2026 are articles, not releases (0). Support is one address, support@dievio.com, with email support on Starter and priority support on Growth; no public changelog, community channel, forum or issue tracker, and the Fazier launch page's comments are from other makers (3 of 15). Not in the official MCP registry and no official SDKs (0). No packages to judge (5 of 10). 20+0+3+0+5 = 28.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (76): GTM CLI v2.1.1 on 2 October 2026, and docs pages edited as late as 8 October (30). CLI releases 1.1.0, 2.0.0, 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 since 26 August, plus Release Hub entries dated 15 September 2026 (20). A public Release Hub, a support address in the docs and a GitHub issue tracker for the CLI, whose handling we could not see (10 of 15). The CLI is current on npm and ZoomInfo's docs name listings in the Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity connector directories. No official SDKs, and the MCP registry timed out so its listing is unchecked (8 of 15). The CLI repository has release workflows, semantic-release and npm provenance attestations (8 of 10).\n\n### Schema \u0026 documentation: ZoomInfo API + MCP +34\n\n- Dievio (50): API reading, with the MCP server described. No OpenAPI or other machine-readable contract for the REST API; the MCP tool reference says clients discover exact input schemas through tools/list, that unknown fields and unlisted arguments are rejected, and the server publishes a dievio://schema/search-filters JSON resource, but no session was opened to read them (10 of 25). llms.txt and llms-full.txt on docs.dievio.com, generated on each build, plus llms.txt, pricing.md and product.md on dievio.com (10). No version in the path (/api/public), no changelog or release notes on either host, and plan allowances and API prices changed between the May and October 2026 copies of the pricing pages with no dated notice (0 of 15). 10+10+12+10+8+0 = 50.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (84): Eight public OpenAPI 3.0 files, with 18 operations in the Data API file (25). `llms.txt` and Markdown twins on docs.gtm.ai and gtm.ai (10). Endpoint descriptions state when to search before enriching and how to find valid field names, and MCP tool pages mark superseded tools (16 of 20). The Data API file marks required fields 198 times but has 11 enums, because filter values come from Lookup calls (10 of 15). 150 examples in the Data API file and an error catalogue with codes and a recommended action each (13 of 15). The API is versioned as v1 with breaking changes promised only in a new version. The dated Release Hub covers the whole product with an API filter, and docs.gtm.ai has no changelog of its own (10 of 15). The credit page says rate-limit headers are not returned while the rate-limit page lists them.\n\n### Security \u0026 auth: ZoomInfo API + MCP +9\n\n- Dievio (56): MCP uses OAuth with the authorization code flow, PKCE S256, dynamic registration of public clients, refresh tokens of 30 days, a revocation endpoint and six scopes, revoked per connection on the dashboard; REST uses a plain API key from the dashboard as a bearer or X-API-Key header, with no documented scopes, rotation, expiry or revocation, and nothing documents a secret in a query string (25 of 30). mcp:read is the required baseline and cannot spend credits, leads:search, lists:write, leads:export and team:manage are separate consents, team:manage works for the owner only, the permissions page asks agents to confirm before deleting saved data and to invite or remove people only when asked, and the terms ask users to review filters and the maximum result count before authorising a paid operation; nothing asks for confirmation inside the server and REST keys have no least-privilege mode (16 of 20). Returned records are third-party contact data, and the permissions page says to treat names, descriptions, URLs and other field values as data rather than instructions, with no further mitigation (8 of 15). get_account reports the selected account, permissions and balances, list_search_jobs lists recent jobs, the dashboard lists and revokes each connection, and the privacy policy says operation results are kept to prevent duplicate actions; no audit log or per-call record is exposed to the operator (7 of 15). No security.txt on either host (404), no disclosure policy, bug bounty, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 (0 of 20). 25+16+8+7+0 = 56.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (65): OAuth 2.0 with PKCE or client credentials, 20 scopes, short-lived tokens, and client self-registration on the MCP server. No secret travels in a URL (28 of 30). Read and manage scopes are separate, admins switch API access on or off per user and cap credits per user, and Update GTM Context needs admin rights. Four MCP tools write, no confirmation step is built in, and there is no organisation-wide switch for MCP (13 of 20). News, scoops and conversation data are untrusted text, and no prompt-injection guidance was found (4 of 15). A usage endpoint, credit dashboards for admins and a `requestId` on errors. No per-call audit log found (8 of 15). ZoomInfo's `llms.txt` states SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and TRUSTe. The trust centre is drawn by script and was unread, security.txt answered HTTP 500, and no bug bounty was found (12 of 20).\n\n### Agent ergonomics: ZoomInfo API + MCP +8\n\n- Dievio (63): API reading. REST responses are sized with _per_page (default 25), max_results, include_emails, include_phones, _include_raw to drop the raw object and email_status; the MCP server lists 30 tools with no toolsets or read-only subset, previews mask contact fields and limit runs 1 to 500 (18 of 25). Page-based pagination with has_more and next_page over REST, offset and limit with next_offset over MCP, 20 filters, max_results caps and column selection on exports (20). Errors are 401, 402, 500 and 502 as status codes with one-line meanings and no error body, and a balance below the page size returns fewer rows with success true, which an agent must detect from count; MCP job errors are read from get_search_job (8 of 20). request_id on every MCP mutation with replay semantics, asynchronous searches polled by job id, save_search_results deduplicated by list, job and position, and only queued jobs cancellable; the REST search has no idempotency key and a repeat is charged, and readOnlyHint and destructiveHint are not documented (10 of 20). Every filter is optional with defaults for page size and max_results, and the MCP tools need only filters and a request_id; no official SDK or CLI, only a third-party MIT OpenClaw skill and an n8n template on GitHub (7 of 15). 18+20+8+10+7 = 63.\n- ZoomInfo API + MCP (71): Graded on the REST API, with the MCP server noted. Enrich calls take an `outputFields` list and the CLI has `--select`, so responses can be sized. The MCP server lists 26 tools with no toolsets found (18 of 25). Search pages with `page[number]` and `page[size]` up to 100 records, with many filters and a cap at page 100 (18 of 20). Coded errors with a recommended action, a `retryable` flag and a table of recovery steps for agents (18 of 20). No idempotency keys found. Rejected 429 requests cost nothing and search is free, but a repeated enrichment is free only under Records Under Management, which the pricing page limits to Enterprise. MCP tool annotations could not be read without an account (10 of 20). No official SDKs, a JSON:API envelope on every request, and one official CLI (7 of 15).\n\n## Score by category\n\n| Category | Weight | Dievio | ZoomInfo API + MCP | Edge |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Reliability | 16% (20 this run) | 28 | 87 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +59 |\n| Performance | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run |\n| Schema \u0026 documentation | 13% (16.2 this run) | 50 | 84 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +34 |\n| Agent ergonomics | 13% (16.2 this run) | 63 | 71 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +8 |\n| Security \u0026 auth | 14% (17.5 this run) | 56 | 65 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +9 |\n| Payments \u0026 pricing | 10% (12.5 this run) | 35 | 40 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +5 |\n| Task success | 10%, pending | pending | pending | not scored in this run |\n| Maintenance \u0026 community | 7% (8.8 this run) | 28 | 76 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +48 |\n| Transparency \u0026 trust | 7% (8.8 this run) | 27 | 76 | ZoomInfo API + MCP +49 |\n| Negative events | ≤15 | 0 | 0 | |\n| **Total** | | **43 · E** | **72.3 · BB** | |\n\n## Facts side by side\n\n| Fact | Dievio | ZoomInfo API + MCP |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Kind | HTTP API | HTTP API |\n| Vendor | Dievio | ZoomInfo Technologies LLC |\n| Hosted endpoint | `https://dievio.com/api/public` | `https://api.zoominfo.com/gtm` |\n| Transports | HTTP, Streamable HTTP | HTTP, Streamable HTTP |\n| Auth | OAuth or key | OAuth |\n| Pricing | Freemium | Freemium |\n| x402 | no | no |\n| Licence | Proprietary hosted service under Dievio's Terms of Service (last updated 31 October 2026). No status page, OpenAPI file, changelog, rate limits or security.txt, no named legal entity, and plan credit allowances cut by about 90 per cent between May and October 2026 without notice.\n\n**ZoomInfo API + MCP.** Search, lookup and similar-record calls cost no credits, and a free account with 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits needs no card. OAuth carries 20 scopes and limits are published per package. The Licence Terms and Conditions bar disclosing benchmark results, and the two documentation sites disagree on batch sizes and rate-limit headers.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Dievio\n\n1. Call `get_search_filters`, then `preview_leads` and `get_search_count` with the same `filters` object before any paid call; previews mask contacts and spend nothing, and `max_results` caps the spend of `search_leads`.\n2. Generate one `request_id` UUID per intended mutation and retry with the same ID and identical arguments; a new ID on a `search_leads` or `lookup_linkedin` retry is a second paid operation, and only queued searches can be cancelled.\n3. Poll `get_search_job` with the returned `job_id` rather than calling `search_leads` again, then read `get_search_results` and `save_search_results` page by page, which costs nothing more.\n4. Over REST start with a small `_per_page`; when the API balance is below the page size the response holds fewer rows with no error, and 402 arrives only when nothing can be returned. Retry 500 and 502, never 401 or 402.\n5. MCP spends the subscription credits of the account chosen at consent, never the API balance; check `get_account` for the selected team and balance before a paid search.\n6. Treat names, descriptions and URLs in returned records as untrusted data, and hand export `download_url` links straight to the user, since they expire within 15 minutes and are private to the connection.\n\n### ZoomInfo API + MCP\n\n1. Call Lookup first and pass the returned IDs to Search. Unknown industry, metro or topic strings are rejected with a 422\n2. Search before Enrich. Search is free, and each newly enriched record costs one data credit\n3. Request only the scopes the task needs in the `scope` parameter of the token call. Omitting it grants every scope configured on the app\n4. On 429 read `X-RateLimit-Rejected-Bucket` and wait for `Retry-After`. An exhausted hourly window can mean a wait of several hundred seconds\n5. Turn off model training in the AI client before connecting the MCP server. ZoomInfo prohibits MCP data being used for training\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Dievio or ZoomInfo API + MCP?\n\nZoomInfo API + MCP scores 72.3 (BB) on agent readiness against Dievio's 43 (E), and leads in every scored category.\n\n### Do Dievio and ZoomInfo API + MCP need an API key?\n\nDievio takes an API key or an OAuth sign-in. ZoomInfo API + MCP uses an OAuth sign-in.\n\n### Can an agent call Dievio and ZoomInfo API + MCP without installing anything?\n\nYes.
