It runs on Windows only with the user's full rights, and the repository has no CI or test suite.\n\n**Robocorp.** Apache-2.0 libraries with passing CI, releases in the last month and an agent skill in the repository make it practical for agent-written desktop automation. robocorp.com now redirects to Sema4.ai, whose docs, pricing, terms and rcc downloads sit behind a bot check, and recent library issues mostly go unanswered.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### AutoHotkey\n\n1. Write output with `FileAppend text, \"*\"` and pipe the interpreter's output, since stdout does not appear at the console it was launched from\n2. Run `AutoHotkey64.exe /ErrorStdOut /Validate script.ahk` before running a new script\n3. Add `OnError` or `try` blocks so a runtime error does not leave a dialog open in an unattended run\n4. Target v2 syntax. v1 is unmaintained and its scripts do not run on v2\n\n### Robocorp\n\n1. Install libraries with `pip install robocorp` and add `rpaframework` or `robocorp-windows` separately. robocorp-windows is not in the meta-package\n2. Use RPA.Windows or robocorp.windows on Windows only. On macOS or Linux use RPA.Desktop, which works by keyboard, mouse and image matching\n3. Ask the user for the rcc download link for their platform, because the release notes page blocks automated requests\n4. Run a task package with `rcc task run --robot robot.yaml --task \"TASK NAME\"` and read the final status as well as the log output\n5. Keep secrets in robocorp.vault or environment variables and register sensitive names with robocorp.log so they are hidden from logs\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, AutoHotkey or Robocorp?\n\nRobocorp scores 65.5 (B) on agent readiness against AutoHotkey's 52.8 (D), and leads in 5 of 7 scored categories.
