Production needs a security review and a signed agreement, no price is published, and no public status page, SLA, SDK or `llms.txt` was found.\n\n**Tink.** OAuth client credentials with per-endpoint scopes, token-paged data endpoints and a published MSA, DPA, SLA and sub-processor list. No price is public, live access needs a sales contract, and the API reference has no downloadable spec or published rate-limit numbers.\n\n## Before you call either\n\n### Akoya\n\n1. Send `x-akoya-interaction-type` (USER or BATCH) and `x-akoya-last-access` on every v3 data call, plus `x-akoya-intent-type` if the app subscribes to Payments\n2. Use the `id_token` as the bearer token. The `/token` response has no `access_token` field, so generic OAuth libraries need adjusting\n3. Treat ID tokens as valid for 15 minutes, refresh on error 602, and store the new refresh token returned by every refresh\n4. Page transactions by following `links.next.href` unchanged. Set `limit`, `startTime` and `endTime` on the first call only\n5. On 429 with code 1207 slow the request rate. On 5xx retry up to three times with exponential backoff\n\n### Tink\n\n1. Request a client token at https://api.tink.com/api/v1/oauth/token, create a user, request an authorisation grant for that user, then exchange the code for a user token.\n2. Renew tokens on a timer. Client tokens last 30 minutes and user tokens two hours, and the client credentials flow returns no refresh token.\n3. Send the account holder through Tink Link in a browser. Bank consent cannot be completed by API calls alone.\n4. Read transactions from /data/v2/transactions with `pageSize` up to 100 and follow `nextPageToken`.\n5. Send an Idempotency-Key header on consent and payment writes. Keys are kept for 24 hours.\n\n## Questions\n\n### Which is better for AI agents, Akoya or Tink?\n\nTink scores 62.5 (B) on agent readiness against Akoya's 48.3 (D), and leads in 5 of 7 scored categories.\n\n### Do Akoya and Tink need an API key?\n\nBoth use an OAuth sign-in.\n\n### Can an agent call Akoya and Tink without installing anything?\n\nYes.
