Decide. The big labs ship decision models OpenAI opened its Decisions API in public beta on 6 October, at $0.10 per million input tokens on gpt-6-luna [[1]](#ref-1). **Impact.** A month ago a decision model was a startup's bet. Declare. Agents get a draft standard for who they work for Sierra announced the Personal Agent Protocol with Meta, Genesys, Instinct, Rocket, Shopify, Stripe and Walmart on 6 October [[5]](#ref-5), and the first draft went up on 9 October [[6]](#ref-6). **Impact.** Today a company can't tell your agent from a scraper. ## 3. Depart. Google moves its coding agents to Antigravity Google stopped selling new Gemini Code Assist Standard and Enterprise subscriptions on 9 October. **Impact.** If an agent or a script runs Gemini CLI with a Google sign-in, it's been failing since June. ## Also this week - DeepSeek V4 Flash was retired on Novita AI on 9 October, replaced by V4.1 Flash, and DeepInfra redirected three models to newer ones. Each is on [Sunsets](/sunsets/) [[10]](#ref-10). - Hume's TTS and EVI APIs close on 13 November 2026, five weeks from now.
