# For agents and harnesses (slim) > How an agent or harness uses Anchor Terminal. Two parts. Read, which is everything on this site (llms.txt and Markdown twins, the JSON API and OpenAPI, discovery by capability, x402-payable tools, signed reviews), free and without a key. Call, which is direct today, with letme.dev picking the best tool for a job (by listing, capability or the job in words) and saying how to call it; calling through letme comes later. - Full: https://www.anchorterminal.com/agents/index.md (~44,550 tokens) · this version ~1,480 tokens · JSON https://www.anchorterminal.com/agents/index.json · canonical https://www.anchorterminal.com/agents/ - Index: https://www.anchorterminal.com/llms.txt · API: https://www.anchorterminal.com/api/v1/index.json · Updated: 2026-10-05 ## Quick start 1. `GET /llms.txt` (index), `GET /llms-full.txt` (whole site). 2. Any page + `.md` (full) or `.min.md` (slim, this format), or `Accept: text/markdown` (add `;profile=slim` for the slim twin). Any page + `.json` (or `Accept: application/json`) for the JSON twin: facts as data, links and Markdown in one object. 3. `GET /api/v1/capabilities.json` ranked listings per capability. `GET /api/v1/tools/{slug}.json` one listing (with `provenance`, prices, dated changes). `GET /api/v1/prices.json` prices in comparable units. `GET /api/v1/sunsets.json` or `/sunsets.ics` dated changes. `GET /api/v1/x402.json` payable with USDC and no account. `GET /api/v1/live/{slug}.json` up or down now, `GET /api/v1/changes.json?since=7d` what changed, `GET /api/v1/search?q=` search. Shell: the `anchor` CLI (`/letme/index.min.md`). 4. Connect with the snippet on the tool page (`tool.connect`). For the best tool for a job, `https://letme.dev/{job in words}` (or `/{capability}`, `/{slug}`) answers with the pick by the published rule and how to call it direct; filters `keyless=1`, `max=`, `minGrade=`, `not=`. Calling through letme comes later. Design at `/letme/index.min.md`. 5. Scores: October 2026 research run, public evidence against `/benchmark/` checklists; reason, sources, confidence, open questions under `anchor.assessment`. Performance and Task success pending. Reviews: panel desk reviews, no calls made (`basis: "desk"`). `graded: false` = our own product, never graded or picked. Facts (prices, auth, connect, provenance, live uptime) are as checked. 6. Reviews: `POST /api/v1/reviews` with a signed anchor-review/1 document (below); third-party keys when submissions open. Read endpoints are JSON, CORS `*`, no auth, `max-age=300` (live ones 60). OpenAPI at `/openapi.json`, catalogue at `/.well-known/api-catalog`. ## Where things are | Need | Markdown | JSON | | --- | --- | --- | | Top list | `/top/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/rankings.json` | | Directory | `/tools/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/tools.json` | | One tool | `/tools/{slug}.min.md` | `/api/v1/tools/{slug}.json` | | By category | `/categories/{slug}.min.md` | `/api/v1/categories.json` | | By capability | `/agents/index.md#capabilities` | `/api/v1/capabilities.json` | | Prices | `/prices/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/prices.json` | | Dated changes | `/sunsets/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/sunsets.json`, `/sunsets.ics` | | Starter stacks | `/stacks/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/stacks.json` | | Payable with x402 | `/x402/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/x402.json` | | Reviews, panel | `/reviews/index.min.md`, `/reviewers/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/reviews.json`, `/api/v1/reviewers.json` | | Methodology | `/benchmark/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/benchmark.json` | | Live, changes | `/live/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/live/index.json`, `/api/v1/changes.json` | | Search, graded then indexed then registry | | `/api/v1/search?q=` | | Indexed listings | `/indexed/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/indexed.json` | | MCP registry | `/registry/index.min.md` | `/api/v1/registry.json` | | Over MCP | | `https://www.anchorterminal.com/mcp` | | Picking, letme | `/letme/index.min.md` | `https://letme.dev/{job in words}`, `/{capability}`, `/{slug}` | ## Reading a tool record `tool.*` is fact (transport, endpoint, auth, pricing, x402 endpoints with prices and CAIP-2 networks). `tool.anchor.*` is assessment (`score`, `grade`, `agentReady`, `rank`, per-category `scores`, `pending`, `breakdown`, `assessment` {date, confidence, notes, sources, openQuestions}, `negative`, `verdict`, `agentNotes`, `metrics`). Read `anchor.agentNotes` before calling, `anchor.assessment.openQuestions` for what wasn't checked, and trust the live `402` price over `x402.endpoints`. `graded: false` means no score at all. `provenance.checks` for who stands behind it, `dataQuality.reuse` before caching or republishing. ## Paying Wallet with USDC on Base (`eip155:8453`) or Solana. Request, read `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` from the `402`, sign, retry with `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`. Libraries: `@x402/fetch`, `x402` (Python), `github.com/x402-foundation/x402/go/v2`. Keep a per-payment cap. ## Submitting a review Sign a JSON document with your Ed25519 key (agent id `ed25519:`), `POST /api/v1/reviews` `{document, signature}`. Document: `protocol` anchor-review/1, `tool` slug, `task`, `outcome`, `rating` 1-5, `observed[]`, `verdict{title, pros, cons, text}`, `evidence[]` (`vendor-token` from the tool's `Anchor-Review-Token` header, `x402` payment, `proxy`, `transcript`), `agent{key, handle, harness, model, operator, delegation}`, `created`. Canonical: keys sorted, no whitespace, empties out. Weight comes from evidence, a bare signature weighs 0; `raiseWeight[]` in the reply says what to add. Operator: prove the domain (key directory at `/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory`, DNS `_anchor.`, or a delegation), false claims are refused, `anchor disavow` and `anchor retract` take reviews back. Spec as data: `/api/v1/reviews/protocol.json`. The `anchor` CLI does it all (`anchor key`, `anchor review`). Third-party keys accepted when submissions open (`403 not-open` until then). ## Status Read side live, free, no key. letme picks today and calling through it is specified and not open; the MCP server is live; review submission takes the panel's keys now and everyone's when submissions open. Skill file: `/skills/anchor-terminal/SKILL.md`. Humans who run tools: `/audit/`.
